WOOD TECHNOLOGY - Six video taped lessons which will help your supervisors and engineers better understand how to use wood. This course is "basic training" for anyone trying to competitively produce a "quality" product from wood. The program covers:

* Wood structure and properties
* Wood, water and the
* Shrinkage and swelling environment
* Product design considerations
* Wood products and their application
* Understanding and overcoming wood related problems

The course package includes videos, handout materials and homework assignments (to be reviewed by your in-plant coordinator or used for personal, "self examination" applications.) Each lecture is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration.
